मुझे संघर्ष की राहों का
राम मनोहर लोहिया बनने दो।
भीड़ के इस अंधे मेले में
थोड़ा अलग तो मुझे रहने दो।
जो सच कहें,
उन्हें पागल ही रहने दो।

लड़कियों का क्या है?
वो इन्हीं से प्रेम करेंगी,
कुँवारी इन्हीं के बच्चों की माँ बनेंगी,
और फिर इन्हीं के आँगन में रोएँगी।
जो सच्चे होंगे,
वो ठुकरा दिए जाएँगे,
जो शातिर होंगे,
वो गले लगाए जाएँगे।

वो कमजोर नहीं, पारंगत हैं
इस शोषण के खेल में।
उन्हें ये खेल खेलने दो।
सत्ता के खिलाफ बिगुल
बजाने वालों में मेरा नाम रहने दो।
