The famous quote of The Alchemist with the multiple hypothesis correction

The most famous quote from The Alchemist is “When you want something; all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
People have misunderstood this quote. It is a very simple statistical concept related to multiple hypothesis correction. In terms of probability, if you keep doing the same experiment, again and again, suppose 500 times, there is a chance that you will get the positive result (which you want to get) at least once. Each experiment has an equal probability to get that result for you. But the probability to get that result increase with the number of an experiment repeated. This is the underlying message from the quote. In other words, the quote was without the correction of multiple hypothesis.
